Nick's Team played the yellow team today. It was a pretty even match this week. Nick played some goalie and some of everything else. He almost scored a goal. I tried to take some video but every time I had the camera out I always seemed to miss the good action. Aidan made himself at home in someone elses lawn chair. It was also team picture day today so I got a few pictures of the whole team. It was cold and rainy when we left our house but by the time we got to Santa Maria it had warmed up and the sun poaked out for most of the game.

Just Having A Snack
Jeremy did snack time this morning and this was the result. Two messy faced boys. If you also noticed that Aidan's shirt is 8 sizes too big that is because Daddy got him dressed this morning. I was in a hurry because I had to teach Children's church this morning and so I asked Jeremy to help get Aidan dressed and out comes Aidan with Nick's pajama shirt on. It goes all the way down to his feet but Jeremy says he couldn't tell it was too big. That's o.k. because I still appreciated the help and Aidan was staying home so it really didn't matter.

Maggie's Birthday Party
We went to Nick's friend Maggie's 5th birthday party today. It was at Chuck E Cheese. Nick and Aidan had a great time. It was a little stressful since Jeremy had to work trying to watch both boys simultaneously but we managed. Maggie had a really cute dinosaur cake that both boys devoured. Now of course Nick is saying he wants his 5th birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. Hopefully, going to Minnesota will make him forget about that because I have no desire to do a Chucky birthday party.

Nick's 1rst Soccer Game
Well I totally forgot the camera so I took a few pictures of him in his uniform when we got home. I promise I will bring the camera next week. He was so excited and had so much fun. Nick is playing Arena soccer and is on the Green team which they call themselves the Green Beans. There are some very good 5 years olds on his team I was really shocked. They beat the blue team today 4-0. Nick played a little bit of everything but when he played goalie I swear I was so nervous I almost passed out because at that time the score was 0-0 and I was so worried he would be upset if he let a goal in. He did so good though and stopped all the balls that came to him. I don't know how I am going to survive watching him play sports for the next 20 years, especially because he can't wait to play football. Aidan and I just cheered hard from the sidelines and gave him high 5's when he came back to the sidelines. It is seriously so beautiful here today. It is almost 80 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. So we are off to the beach to soak up some rays!

4 Generations of Olson Boys
I finally got some pictures of the boys with their Grandparents. The boys loved every minute of their grandparents being here this week. They were spoiled with attention this week which is just what both boys needed. They were very sad to see them go this morning. Nick is already talking about going to Minnesota to visit. I don't think he understands that it is almost half a year away.
