Well we finally got Aidan's hair cut today. He did about as well as his brother did with his first hair-cut. We took him to a little kid hair cut place called Whipper Snippers. He really liked sitting in the airplane at first but then he totally freaked when she tried to cut his hair. We eventually just took him out and put him on my lap and then he calmed down quite a bit. He lost a lot of hair. I was shocked at how short it is now. I guess I didn't realize how long his hair was. He looks so grown up now. The place was very cute and they saved his hair for us and Nick was able to play trains the whole time and Aidan watched Bob the Builder. Aidan was so worn out that he fell asleep in the car before we even got on the highway to come home. Hopefully, it wasn't too traumatic for him. I tried to get before and after pictures of his hair but he isn't really at the sitting still stage so I am not sure how well they turned out.

Happy Easter
We had a wonderful Easter Sunday here. The boys woke up and searched for their Easter baskets and were in awe of everything in their baskets once they found them. Nick was blown away by the large chocolate bunny in his basket. Aidan ate all his jelly beans for breakfast. Once he figured out that there was candy in his basket he wouldn't let go of his basket and carried it around all morning long. Then we went to church and they had an Easter Egg hunt at Childrens church so the boys came home with stuffed animal bunnies and a bag full of filled eggs. Then we spent the rest of the day in Ventura at my cousin's house. They had a yummy pork roast and all kinds of wonderful sides and desserts. It was a beautiful day there in the 80's and so all 8 boys played outside almost all day running around like crazy. Poor Aidan crashed really hard this evening. Nick loves his cousins and gets so spoiled when we are there. They had an Easter Egg hunt for the kids there too. Nick got over 25 filled eggs and most of them were filled with money. Nick also got a huge Easter basket filled with candy and toys from my other cousin. They brought Aidan a basket with toys and some jelly beans too. I don't know what we are going to do with all this candy. My cousin even made Jeremy and I a basket. We have like 8 chocolate bunnies at our house now. I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter and took time to reflect on the true meaning of the holiday. Spring is definitely here and we have so much to be thankful for. We miss you all! Please keep us in your prayers tomorrow as we are headed to the ENT and Aidan is struggling with a little bit of a cold right now so hopefully she won't say he is too sick for his tube surgery on Thursday. We'll keep you posted.

The Base Easter Egg Hunt
Today we walked to the park on base for the Housing Easter Egg Hunt. The boys have definitely figured out the whole Easter egg collecting thing now. Aidan has also realized that candy comes in the eggs and was all over opening his eggs as soon as he found them. The boys had a great time. Nick jumped in the bouncy house for almost an hour and Aidan played on the playground most of the time. Nick posed with the Easter Bunny but Aidan wouldn't go near him. They had games and prizes too but Nick didn't want to play any of them because he was too busy jumping. I brought the double stroller thinking they would be too tired to walk home but Nick rode his scooter the whole way home. It was the perfect day for an Easter Egg Hunt as it was 75 and clear and sunny. Spring has definitely arrived here!

The Boys and The FireTruck
The boys were being so sweet today and I caught them playing together on the firetruck. Aidan loved that his brother was giving him a ride. He laughed so hard and would get mad when Nick stopped moving. One of the best things about being a parent has got to be seeing your children interact lovingly with each other. It just melts my heart. I hope they stay close forever.

Playgroup Easter Egg Hunt
We had an Easter Egg Hunt at playgroup today. The boys had a great time. Nick found about 50 eggs and had to put some back for the little kids. We also had a bunny ear craft for the kids. Nick loved wearing his ears but Aidan didn't want to wear them on his head. We also had a big brunch with lots of good food. Of course the boys only seemed to want to eat the donuts. Nick ate all the candy out of his basket already. Poor Aidan was so worn out that he has been sleeping all afternoon. Both boys were also very happy to see their Daddy this morning.

Easter Egg Hunt
Yesterday we went to an Easter Egg Hunt in Santa Maria. The boys had fun filling there baskets with eggs. They had pony rides and clowns and a Magic Show and bouncy houses and lots of great games for the kids to play. The kids also were able to go in the firetrucks and police cars which was probably Nick's favorite part of the whole thing. The kids were so worn out they both fell asleep in the car on the way home. Nick is happy that we have 2 more egg hunts this week on base because there were so many kids that they only got a couple of eggs each.
