I snapped a few pictures of Aidan on the tumble track today at gymnastics. The tumble track is one of his favorite things because you get to land in the foam pit and play in there after you jump off the tumble track. Aidan has learned quite a bit at gymnastics over the past few months and gained lots of upper body strength but he is already talking about when he can play soccer or baseball like Nick. So we shall see how long this lasts.

Another Lost Tooth
Aidan's Field Trip
On Friday Aidan's class went on a field trip to the Animal Clinic in Prattville. They got to see all kinds of different animals from turtles to kittens and they got to play with the vet's puppy which Aidan loved. Aidan is convinced he needs a puppy and wanted us to get him one for his birthday. He was mighty disappointed when we left without a puppy.
Aidan's 4 years old!
The birthday boy!
The new tent!
The new GeoTrax Set.
The Leapster game from Grandma.
The candy bar wrappers we made for his goody bags.
The carwash.
Aidan turned 4 years old on Friday and he took cupcakes to his class to celebrate. We made Thomas cupcakes at home. They turned out pretty cute and cost about $25 less then buying them at Wal-Mart. We went out to dinner at Aidan's favorite restaurant Ci-Ci's. Aidan received some very cool presents like a new geotrax set, a leapster, a CARS carwash, a space rocket tent, and many other cool toys especially the Thomas trains. I apologize to all my friends that I have bought the CARS carwash for their kids because although it is a really cool toy it is sooooo messy. We pretty much have had water from one end of the house to the other the last few days. We have decided it is a bathtub toy now. He enjoyed playing with all his new presents all day and still has most of them all over our living room. Thanks to everyone for the wonderful presents and birthday wishes. I wish my baby wasn't growing up so fast.

Brotherly Love
So the other day Jeremy and I slept in and we came out fully expecting the house to be destroyed because it was so quiet and we found this. It was so sweet I took some video while they didn't know. Nick had built his brother this huge train track and they were playing together so nicely. It was so sweet probably because them playing nicely together is a rare occurence these days. I hope this means that they really do love each other and that they will treasure having each other later in life.
The Bowling Birthday Party
Aidan had his friends birthday party today with all his playgroup buddies at the Maxwell Bowling Alley. The kids had a blast bowling. It was the first time bowling for a lot of the kids which was super cute to watch. Then we had pizza and cake. My good friend Kristi was sweet enough to make a Thomas cake for us. It turned out super cute. Aidan was a little upset at first because it had the number 4 on it because Thomas has a number 1 on him but when I explained it was the number 4 for his 4th birthday he seemed to be ok with it. The bowling alley gave Aidan a birthday crown and an old bowling pin for everyone to sign. He has carried the bowling pin around all day. Aidan enjoyed every second of it and didn't want to leave when our time was up. Here are some pictures from the day. Thanks to everyone who made this day so special for Aidan.
