Nick's school had an end of the year graduation ceremony on Saturday. All of the pre-K kids wore caps and gowns and got to be part of a procession into the auditorium. All of the kids sang a bunch of songs and then the pre-K kids sang a few songs by themselves and then they gave them diplomas. They announced what all of the graduates wanted to be when they grew up and Nick said he wanted to be a professional football player. They made a collage book of all the pictures they took of your child throughout the years they were there. It was so sweet. After the ceremony they had a big BBQ picnic lunch on the playground. They had tons of good food and the kids were able to run around and play after they ate. Aidan loved all the playground toys and didn't want to eat because he was so busy playing especially on the truck. After lunch they had cake and desserts and the graduates got a huge good-bye goody bag to take home. Nick said he was sad that he wouldn't be going to preschool anymore. He really had a great time at this school and begged to go to school even on his off days. He has learned so much and come so far in such a short time. The teachers were wonderful and were so good to the kids. I hope Nick enjoys Kindergarten as much as he enjoyed preschool.
