Jeremy spent the last week in France for work. It was really a sight seeing trip all around France covering many WW1 and WW2 historical sites. It sounds like he had an amazing time and he actually wants to go back to Europe so yeah for me! Here are a few of the hundreds of pictures he took. You will have to ask him to show you the rest in person and explain all the military history behind all the pictures because I can't remember everything he shared.

Cotton Picking
Today Aidan and I went cotton picking with his class. He had a great time with his friends. The cotton was right at the perfect height for them to pick. He picked a whole bag full. It is pretty easy to pick but I can't imagine doing that for a living. Aidan was a little confused about what cotton was because he kept asking if he could eat it. Despite the monster sized grasshoppers and the crazy 100 degree heat we had a lot of fun and learned a lot about southern farming.
Fall Baseball
Here are a few pictures from Nick's all-star tournament this weekend. They got crushed by some really good traveling teams but they learned a lot and had fun despite record temperatures. These are from my phone so they aren't very good pictures. I will try to take some baseball pictures from my camera when Jeremy gets back from France. He took my camera with him.

Best Buds Forever
This weekend our good friends The Scotts came to visit. We were stationed together in both Minot and California but haven't seen them in over 5 years since they got out of the Air Force. They were nice enough to drive down from Memphis to see us. They have two boys Carson who is a week older then Nick and Roland who is almost 5 months old. Carson was Nick's first best friend and it was like they hadn't spent any time apart and were instantly best buds again. Aidan was madly in love with Roland who they call Rollie. He followed him around everywhere trying to tickle him and make him laugh. He was so in love with him that he cried after they left today saying he loves Rollie and wants him to come back. It is really wonderful to have friends that you can just pick up with like old times even after 5 years apart. The guys played golf at RTJ and went fishing and stayed up late drinking just like the old days. Jocelyn and I entertained the kids with Chuck E Cheese and Pump it Up, fishing, smores, and sparklers. My cheeks hurt by the end of the weekend because I spent the whole weekend laughing. It was an amazing long weekend and we can't wait to get together again.
