Aidan and 6 of his best friends went up to Calera, AL on Friday to see Thomas the Tank Engine. We went on the 20 minute train ride and did all the fun activities they had for the kids. They had a train tent to play trains, tattoo station, coloring station, story station, petting zoo, bouncy houses, bubble station, sand castle building, mini golf and so much more. The kids had such a great time and were thoroughly worn out when we were done. We lucked out and got the most gorgeous day. It was sunny and 75 with a good breeze blowing. It wasn't really that busy either which is surprising because when we went last year it was crazy. I am not sure how much longer this train obsession will last but Aidan still really enjoys all things trains.
