Burke Lake Park

Yesterday we met some of our good friends at Burke Lake Park. This is the park with the train and carousel and mini-golf and a huge lake with bike trails. We went to the non-train side yesterday and had a picnic lunch and played on the huge playground and the boys had a blast building forts and playing guns with sticks in the trees. We stayed for over three hours and spent a good chunk of time biking around on the paths too. Other then a few too many bees bothering us while we ate it was a perfect afternoon at the park.

Jeremy made it to Kabul safely. Thank you for your prayers. He is tired but getting settled. He even ran into one of our best friends from Alabama. Please continue to keep him in your thoughts and prayers over the next 4 months.
