Belvedere Plantation

The easy corn maze they did by themsleves. At the end you get to dig out two marbles as your prize for finishing which they also enjoyed.

The Rope swings in the barn.

Grinding up corn to make feed for the animals.
The huge slides built into the side of a hill.
Being silly in the kiddy playground area.
 The little kid haybale maze
 The ziplines
Bouncy horse racing. It was a lot harder then it looks.

Feeding the sheep. They were a little grossed out that they actually licked their hands.

The hardest adult corn maze. Aidan and I gave up at the hour point but Nick stayed in for almost 2 hours finishing the whole thing. He never gave up and he was so proud when he got out. He lit up all day talking about it. The flag was to hold up high and wave if you got lost and wanted out they would come get you. We never used it though.

 Slides inside the maze.

Pedal car race tracks. Nick was big enough to go on the big ones.

 Climbing spider webs.

 The giant bounce pad.

On the search for a good pumpkin.

Nick picking his right off the vine.

Riding the tractor back from the pumpkin patch.

Hauling the wheel barrow to the check-out counter.

We spent the day yesterday at the best pumpkin patch in the world at Belvedere Plantation in Fredricksberg, Virginia. There is just so much to do and it is so well staffed and managed that no matter if there are thousands of people there you feel like you are on your own private pumpkin excursion. The boys loved it so much that they said this is the best thing they have seen/done since moving to Virginia. It is an energetic boys paradise with corn mazes, zip lines, pumpkin shooters, giant slides, bouncy pads, train rides, rope swings, race tracks, and so much more they were running non-stop the whole time we were there. It probably also helped that Grandma was there to spoil them with kettle corn and snow cones etc. You get to ride on a tractor hay ride out to the pumpkin fields and pick your pumpkins right off the vine and they had all sizes from some so big you couldn't carry them to cute little ones for the kids. We got a couple big pumpkins and a couple little pumpkins. They were both exhausted and begging to go to bed last night.  We will definitely be going back next year if we are still living here. Worth every penny.

Video of Aidan getting to pull the cord to launch his pumpkin out of the pumpkin shooter. If you hit the target you got a free bag of kettle corn. We only saw one of 20 hit the target.

Video of Nick on the rope swings in the barn. We had to go back to the barn 3 different times to go on the rope swings he loved it so much.
