On Friday we took advantage of Jeremy being home for the long weekend and went ice skating in Pentagon city at a little ice rink in their outside mall. It was a little too small for the number of people they let on the rink and I would say 99% of the people had never skated before and most were foreign visitors who probably have never seen an ice rink in their life. So that makes for interesting skating environment but the kids had a great time and are getting better at skating. They both fell a few times but mostly managed to stay on their feet without any assistance from me. We skated for an hour and then went to dinner at Sine an Irish pub located right in the area. Hopefully, we will get a few more chances to skate before the year is over.
