Today Jeremy graduated from the School of Advanced Air and Space Studies(SAASS) with a Masters in Philosophy of Military Space Power. It has been a long year but a very rewarding year. We have met many great people and have developed friendships that will last a lifetime. The boys were extremely well behaved throughout the ceremony. The secretary of the Air Force, Michael Donley was the guest speaker which was really cool. He also handed out their diplomas. It was incredibly hard to say good-bye to all our friends today. They had a little reception afterwards with cake and punch. Then we came home and celebrated on our own with presents and a trip to Logan's for lunch. We are so proud of Jeremy and all that he has accomplished and so proud of how hard he works for our family. We love you Jer!

The Book Collection

This is what Jeremy has been busy doing over the last 12 months. He has spent the majority of most days reading books. This is just a portion of the books they read this year. I guess it is time to get some more bookcases.

Graduation Ball

Last night we went to Jeremy's graduation ball. We had a great time hanging out with the SAASS gang one last time. It was at the Capital City Club in Montgomery which was on the 22nd floor of a building downtown. It had this beautiful balcony overlooking the whole city. It was gorgeous but a little windy which is why everyone's hair was going crazy in all the pictures. I was so tired that I really didn't take very many pictures which is too bad because it was a beautiful setting and everyone was all dressed up. The dinner was amazing and the presentation was not only fun and funny it felt really intimate because we have become so close with all of his class. It was a great way to end a really tough year. They officially graduate on Wednesday and then another chapter in our lives begins.

State Tennis Tournament

On Wednesday I went to Mobile, AL for the state tournament with my tennis team. We won more then we lost which was good but we got crushed at the end by some really good teams from Birmingham. It was really hot especially during the afternoon matches. We just wore lots of sunscreen and drank lots of fluids. We had a great time hanging out in the evenings and I will truly miss these wonderful ladies I played tennis with every week.
