Nick went to baseball camp this week. The camp was run by the head baseball coach at Faulkner University, a college here in Alabama. It was really well done. They had tons of their players on hand to do one on one instruction and really were great role models for the kids. Nick learned a lot of new things like sliding and bunting. It also really reinforced a lot of the skills he had just learned this past baseball season. He loved that they got Faulkner hats and t-shirts and bags and more baseball cards. They got baseball cards for doing things correctly or showing good sportsmanship. Nick wore his baseball pants the first day and after that he gave up and wore shorts with his baseball socks hiked up because it was just too hot out. Despite the heat Nick had a blast and is begging to go to hitting camp next week.
