The Military Bowl Game

On Wednesday night we went to the Military Bowl game here at RFK stadium in downtown D.C. It was our first bowl game and our first college football game. The Air Force played Toledo. It started off with paratroopers jumping into the stadium and a B2 stealth bomber flying over after the National anthem which was so cool. It was a great game of all offense and absolutely no defense. The Air Force ended up losing as they choked in the last 2 minutes trying to go for the win on a 2 point conversion. It was freezing cold that night and we were all so cold it took me like 2 hours of being home to warm up. The boys enjoyed every minute and made friends while we were there. They also loved the snacks and hot cocoa. For free tickets it was an awesome experience and we would gladly go again. There really wasn't a bad seat in the house at this stadium so we may have to go see a soccer game in the warmer months.
