Happy Easter

We had a wonderful Easter Sunday here. The boys woke up and searched for their Easter baskets and were in awe of everything in their baskets once they found them. Nick was blown away by the large chocolate bunny in his basket. Aidan ate all his jelly beans for breakfast. Once he figured out that there was candy in his basket he wouldn't let go of his basket and carried it around all morning long. Then we went to church and they had an Easter Egg hunt at Childrens church so the boys came home with stuffed animal bunnies and a bag full of filled eggs. Then we spent the rest of the day in Ventura at my cousin's house. They had a yummy pork roast and all kinds of wonderful sides and desserts. It was a beautiful day there in the 80's and so all 8 boys played outside almost all day running around like crazy. Poor Aidan crashed really hard this evening. Nick loves his cousins and gets so spoiled when we are there. They had an Easter Egg hunt for the kids there too. Nick got over 25 filled eggs and most of them were filled with money. Nick also got a huge Easter basket filled with candy and toys from my other cousin. They brought Aidan a basket with toys and some jelly beans too. I don't know what we are going to do with all this candy. My cousin even made Jeremy and I a basket. We have like 8 chocolate bunnies at our house now. I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter and took time to reflect on the true meaning of the holiday. Spring is definitely here and we have so much to be thankful for. We miss you all! Please keep us in your prayers tomorrow as we are headed to the ENT and Aidan is struggling with a little bit of a cold right now so hopefully she won't say he is too sick for his tube surgery on Thursday. We'll keep you posted.
