First Trip to UCLA

Well we survived our first trip to UCLA to meet with Aidan's surgeon. All went well and he is still recommending doing the fundoplication surgery. UCLA was a fabulous facility and everyone seemed very nice but it is so huge. I was so happy that I brought the stroller because we had to walk like 4 miles to the building that his appointment was in. The traffic was horrendous around there too. I have officially vowed never to move to LA. It took us 45 minutes to just get onto the highway which was approximately a mile from the Medical Center. I can't believe people sit in that traffic for hours every day. The surgeon ordered some more tests so we have to go back there for a 2 day stay in a couple weeks. Hopefully between those tests and the two GI appointments next week we can finally come to a decision on whether or not we should do this surgery. Aidan seems to be doing worse on his new meds so maybe that is a sign. He was such a good little traveler today sleeping most of the 6 hour car ride. Everyone that met him at UCLA said how cute and of course how big he is. So we'll keep you posted when the rest of the test results come back.
