We finally made it to our neighborhood pool this week. Aidan has been begging me on a daily basis to go since it opened. We met a group of our friends there and the boys had a blast being silly with all the other boys. The Moms had a good time too laying out in the sun. It is nice to have kids that can swim on their own now but I eventually got in because I couldn't take the heat anymore. The heat index has been over 100 all week so we have been trying to stay cool with the pool and splash pad with friends which has left us thoroughly exhausted and sleeping well.
