Saying Goodbye

The Angry Bird luggage tags we made for him so he could easily identify his bags.

We said Goodbye to Jeremy tonight. We dropped him off at the Baltimore airport as the first leg of his deployment journey begins. Nothings puts a trip to the airport in perspective when you have an M-4 as one of your checked pieces of luggage. We had a rough trip over there as we hit a huge thunderstorm and nasty traffic and had a child who was so car sick that he was vomiting but thankfully the return trip was much more peaceful. Please pray for Jeremy especially over the next few days. He will fly to Germany tonight and then to Turkey tomorrow and then on to Khazikstan sometime the next day. He will then wait for the next flight into Afghanistan. It may be a day or two or  it could be up to a week or more. So pray for smooth sailing and safe travels. We would greatly appreciate it if you can keep all of us in your prayers for the rest of the deployment. We will miss him greatly.
